Origine du Nom
« Jo no Mai » (Prélude de la danse Nô) est un chef-d'œuvre d'Uemura Shoen, une peintre japonaise renommée pour ses portraits de femmes élégantes. Née à Kyoto, elle était la seconde fille d'un marchand de thé qui possédait la boutique « Chikiriya ».
En septembre 2012, notre matcha a obtenu l'enregistrement de sa marque auprès de l'Office des brevets du Japon (Numéro de dépôt : 2012-042362).
Matcha Finement Moulu à la Pierre
Le Tencha, les feuilles de thé utilisées pour le matcha, est couvert pendant 30 jours, puis cuit à la vapeur et séché sans pétrissage. La dernière étape consiste à moudre soigneusement les feuilles de tencha avec une meule en pierre, produisant un matcha de haute qualité avec un goût doux et une mousse facile à créer. Ce processus minutieux prend environ une heure pour moudre seulement 40g de matcha.
Ce matcha finement moulu à la pierre, provenant d'Uji, dans la préfecture de Kyoto, est parfait pour préparer à la fois l’Usucha (thé léger) et le Koicha (thé épais) dans les cérémonies du thé japonais.

Taste exactly like the matcha I had in Japan, colour is strong bright green, smells amazing!! Melt instantly and its god well with bamboo whisk.

I ordered 1 to try and see if I like the matcha and yes, yes I do! Been drinking it nearly everyday since I got it and well now it’s time to buy more. The matcha isn’t bitter and it doesn’t clump up when I mix it with my oat milk. And the taste is amazing, definitely one my favs matcha I’ve tried so far.
