Rooibos tea is used to make meat moister and tender. Therefore, it makes a great base for any meat marinade.

Ingredients

For two people:

300 g beef thigh
1 teaspoon instant rooibos tea
200 ml water

1/2 teaspoon instant rooibos tea
25ml water
75 ml Ponzu vinegar
Grated ginger
Shiso leaves
Chopped green onions (scallions)
Grated garlic to your liking.

Best way to prepare

1. Make the marinade. Add 1 teaspoon instant rooibos tea to 200 ml water. Stir to dissolve. Marinate 300 g beef thigh in the mixture for about 2 hours in the fridge.

2. Pat dry the meat with a paper towel and place it in a heated frying pan. Cook the meat over low heat on both sides.
