Product specificity 商品説明
Shincha (新茶), 'new tea', represents the first month's harvest of Japanese green tea of the year. The first picked tea of the year accumulates plenty of nutrients during the winter and reaches full maturity in spring. Tea at this time of year has a rich, refreshing smell and is full of umami flavor. This tea has a very good balance between astringency and umami.
Japan's Three Major Tea ProducingRegions

Kagoshima 鹿児島
It is the second largest tea producing region after Shizuoka. The city of Chiran is particularly popular there because you can see Mount Kaimon from the tea plantations.
Kyoto 京都
For 800 years, the traditions and crafts related to tea harvesting have been passed down from generation to generation and are still very present.
