Product specificity

An assortment full of umami flavor made with kombu produced in Hokkaido and Japanese cherry blossoms.

When you pour hot water, the petals will gently open as it revealing its scent of cherry blossoms. It is an auspicious drink used for celebrations such as matchmaking, weddings, peach festivals, and praying for passing exams.

You can pour 15 cups.
25 g salted cherry blossoms, 15 kombu seaweed sticks

Recipe ideas

You can put it in rice to make sakura onigiri, mix it with ice cream for sakura ice cream, or you can use it as pickles.

It is said that during Edo period (1603-1867), cherry blossom tea was considered a lucky charm because of its gorgeous petals.

*The saltiness may be strong, so lightly remove the salt from the cherry blossoms to your liking

1. Add tea leaves

1-2 cherry blossoms and 1 kombu

2. Add water

80 mL (2.71oz) 80°C (176°F)

3. Brew
