Shincha "Moji no Megumi" is in a traditional wooden tea box to store and preserve the properties of tea.

What is Mouji (Trichome)?
It is a natural white down that can be found on plants and protects them from invasive insects. Then, it disappears as soon as the first leaves appear. Mouji strongly contributes to the umami taste when brewing tea.
