Discover a Unique Pattern
The Benishibori (紅絞り) technique is inspired by traditional Japanese shibori textiles. In shibori, fabric is twisted, folded, or bound before dyeing, producing flowing, organic lines and natural striations. The teapot’s decoration recreates these irregular, soft, wave-like patterns directly on the clay, giving each piece a sense of movement and depth.
Because the patterns emerge naturally during the crafting process, no two teapots are ever the same. Each teapot is a one-of-a-kind work of art, entirely unique.
The tea strainer is made of ceramic and has a fine grain, the technique is called "Sasame".
What is Tokoname ware?
Made in the city of Tokoname in Aichi Prefecture, also called one of the "Six Ancient Kilns" of Japan. Tokoname is among these six pottery producing towns and is considered the largest producing area among them.
