Karigane Kukicha

High-quality Japanese stem tea

Karigane Kukicha is a tea made from the leaf stems sorted out and collected during the manufacturing process of Gyokuro and high-quality Sencha. 

This tea is also known as "Shiraore" (白折) and "Boucha" (棒茶). 

It is less astringent than Sencha and has a refreshing aroma and a mellow flavor.
