In Chinese culture, it is said that it is important to balance evenly these five elements to enjoy a beautiful colored meal full of natural nutrient elements that are necessary for the body.

This grain mix for rice was made based upon these principles. It contains a proper balance of job's tears, corn, black rice, black sesame, black soybeans, adzuki beans, mung beans, amaranths, buckwheat and goji berries.
