How to prepare matcha 抹茶の点て方

1. Add one teaspoon (~2g) of matcha to the bowl.

2. Add a splash of water (~10ml) and whisk until the tea is frothy. The whisk breaks up clumps and deliver a smoother cup of matcha.

3. Pour 60ml of hot water and whisk vigorously in a zigzag pattern.

4. When the tea is frothy, draw the Japanese character “の” with the whisk. Your tea is ready!
